Season 2 Tier Slot Stat Lists

In Season 2 the Catalyst copies your item's own secondary stats onto the tier piece it makes, so this page ranks which drop is worth feeding for your spec and each of the five tier slots - and where the tier token you already earn is fine as it is.

How to read this

Every row is one item that can fill that slot - raid, Mythic+ or lair - scored only on how well its two secondary stats fit your spec. Your tier token piece sits in the same ranked list. KEEP means the token is the top pick or within 3% of it; CATALYZE names the item to feed the Catalyst.

A score grades the item's stat split against your spec's priorities from the source above - 4.0 is perfect. Switching the source re-ranks every list.

Across all 40 specs and 5 tier slots - 200 slot lists in all - 148 come out favoring a catalyzed raid, Mythic+ or lair drop over the token piece, and 52 are worth keeping - every verdict on this page added up, so it moves with the weight source.

What we assume, and what we do not check
  • We assume like feeds like. The item data never states which armor type feeds which tier piece, so this page assumes cloth into cloth, leather into leather, mail into mail and plate into plate. Nobody can confirm that until the Catalyst is live in game.
  • We score stats and nothing else. Item level, tertiary stats, sockets and cantrip effects are not part of the score at all.
  • The four Ula'tek Very Rare items are the known exception. They put their whole budget on one stat, come in at item level 344, and their cantrip survives the Catalyst - so for anyone who can get one they usually win in practice, even on a slot where their single-stat score ranks below a two-stat item here.
  • Last checked 2026-09-01. The stat priorities behind every score were re-checked against the live 12.1 class guides that day, and this page uses the corrected ones.
